Mastering ImageReady

HTML Placeholders

I often create Web pages first, then later go to ImageReady and create the fancy graphics. Is there an easy way to find the proper place to paste my ImageReady HTML?

Sure! When creating your original Web page, put in a “placeholder” graphic. Use a GIF file that's the same dimensions as the rollover or animation you'll add later from ImageReady. Save the dummy image using a naming convention such as <placeholder_rollover_1.gif>. When you're ready to paste, do a quick search of the source code to identify the proper place for your ImageReady code.
