Color Management in Photoshop

The trick to color managing documents across the Creative Suite is to set up color management in each of the components. Most of the options are the same for each of the three primary applications—Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator—so we'll go through them once in detail in the Photoshop section that follows. In successive sections we'll look at specific issues in InDesign and Illustrator.

Photoshop's Color Settings

The first time you launch Photoshop, you will have the opportunity to customize your color settings. However, if you don't avail yourself of the opportunity there and then, you can always change your color settings at any time.
