Photoshop in Focus

To see how all the parts of this chapter come together, try this:

1.
Create a folder called Source and add copies of eight of your favorite images.

2.
Record an Action (name it Create Tiffs) that resizes an image to a maximum height or width of 500 pixels (use Fit Image rather than Image, Image Size), sharpens (Filter, Sharpen, Sharpen), and saves the file as a TIFF file in a folder named Originals.

3.
Run the Action Create Tiffs as a Batch on the Source folder. Create a folder named Destination in which to save the files.

4.
Use Contact Sheet II to create a single page with thumbnails of your TIFF images.

5.
Use Picture Package to create a single page of eight 2.5×3.5 images, one for each of your TIFFs.

6.
Use Web Photo Gallery to create a Web site, in your choice of layout, to show off your images.
