ADD A POINT OF REFERENCE TO CONVEY SIZE

If you're using Photoshop to “fool the eye,” here are two tips for making objects look dramatically larger than they really are. First, to convey a sense of size, the eye needs a point of reference. So, if you want to create some type that looks 50 feet tall, place a silhouette of a person (just the person, no background) beside the type, and use Free Transform to shrink him to less than 30% of the height of the type.
