THE MONDO-COOL BATCH RANKING SECRET SHORTCUT

If you're using Photoshop CS's File Browser, you're probably already using the handy ranking system, where you can sort your images by ranking the best images, then the second best, third best, etc. If you have a lot of images, this can really take some time, but if you use this cool hidden little tip (shown to me by Adobe's own graphics evangelist and undisputed Queen of Photoshop, Julieanne Kost), you can make quick work of it (whatever that means). Here's how: Open the File Browser, and then Command-click on all the images you want to share a similar rank (like all the best images in a particular folder of images). Then, Control-click (PC: Right-click) in one of those Command-clicked images and a pop-up menu will appear, and when you choose a ranking for this one image, all the Command-clicked images will automatically share the same ranking, saving you a boatload of time (which frankly is a time measurement that is vastly underused).
