Vector Masks

Vector masks are sometimes known as clipping paths or paste insides. The path of a vector mask object acts as a cookie cutter and crops the underlying object(s) to its own shape. Sound confusing? It’s not, really. Just try the following example and it might make more sense.

One way to mask vector artwork with a vector mask is to use a method called paste inside:
