Working with Onion Skinning

Onion skinning is the name for a technique that comes from the days of film animation. Vellum sheets were stacked to create the hand-drawn frames of the animation in reference to the entire piece.

The onion skinning feature allows you to look at multiple frames at the same time, switch between frames, and make edits to the selected frame while the other frames currently displayed are viewed at a lower opacity. To activate onion skinning, follow these steps:
