Distorting Images

Distortion, as I explained in the last section, lets you pull the corner bounding boxes in any direction, and even cross over the other edge to put a twist in the object. Distorting can also help you put someone on an instant diet or—if you’re mean—add a bunch of pounds.

In Figure 10.10, the woman is as she was. In Figure 10.11, I used the Distort command to shrink her down a size or two and also retouched her chin. Because I selected her before doing the distortion, the background remained the same. I just moved her back on top of it when I finished shrinking her.
