Individual Presentation Attributes

The first option for specifying styling properties on an SVG element is to use SVG attributes that individually correspond to single CSS properties. Such attributes are termed presentation attributes. We can consider each of the other techniques as convenient syntax to group these individual styling properties.

To specify the stroke and stroke-width properties of a line element, for example, we would write something like this:
