Exercises

  1. Try working with perspective. You know all about creating shadows, so try expanding that to create perspective shadows by skewing cloned objects and applying masks.

  2. Use the opacity settings available in the Property Inspector to fade out and image. You can overlay one object over another and use a gradient fill with reduced opacity to create a nice faded effect.

  3. Try creating 3D objects of your own. Remember that the use of shadows and perspective will add to the effect. Gradient fills can give a nice metallic effect, as you saw earlier in the hour.
