Hour 11. Planning and Creating Animation... > Creating and Organizing New Frames

Creating and Organizing New Frames

When working with animations, you’ll be using the Frames panel, which by default is grouped with the History panel. All images in Fireworks MX have at least one frame. This is all you need to create a static image. To add a frame, simply click the New/Duplicate Frame button (the frame icon with a plus sign) at the bottom of the Frames panel, shown in Figure 11.4. This will add a frame after the last frame in the list. You may also use the Add Frames command in the Frames panel Options menu. You can choose to add one or more frames at the beginning, before the current frame, after the current frame, or at the end.

Figure 11.4. The Frames panel is where you can choose which frames to view, edit, add, rearrange, or delete.
