Workshop

Use this section to revisit the many topics covered in this hour. Realizing that you can even use files that are not actually graphic files can make life a lot easier. Exporting your HTML to FrontPage and getting it to work correctly can be time consuming if you do not follow the steps in this hour, so read the quiz and questions to make sure that you understand the techniques. Finally, use the optional exercises to practice some of the new techniques you have learned.

Q&A

Q1:Why do my pop-ups not work in FrontPage?
A1: Make sure that all the files are in the correct location. Exporting from Fireworks can cause problems if the images are not in the same location as the HTML file.
Q2:Why can’t I just change the colors of my WordArt in Fireworks?
A2: To get your WordArt into Fireworks, you have to paste it in. The pasting action will import your WordArt as a bitmap image, meaning that you have no control over the editability of the file.
Q3:I said No to FrontPage support when I installed Fireworks. What can I do?
A3: You can add the required .dll file by using the instructions in this hour. If that fails, though, you can reinstall Fireworks and this time say Yes when prompted.
