Exercises

  1. Select a single batch of images and then try different batch process options to see the different effects in action. There is no real limit to the number of files that can be processed at once, other than the power and memory of your computer. See how all options can be used singularly or together to save time and effort.

  2. Making the most of files and facilities available is another timesaver. Speak to your coworkers about files that would best be shared among all, and then copy the files to the appropriate locations.

  3. Spend a little time studying the file configuration on your machine. Notice where all of the files for Fireworks are located. Almost all elements are customizable with a little skill, and the starting point for that is understanding in detail the difference between the user-level files and those available to all users as part of the application.
