Lesson 1. Bitmap Editing > The Property Inspector

The Property Inspector

The Property inspector appears by default at the bottom of your workspace. It contains information and controls for changing various values of the selected object or the selected tool. For example, if you have a vector object such as a rectangle selected, you can see (and change) the width and height and the X and Y positions. You can also control the fill, stroke, and effects of the rectangle in the Property inspector. Later lessons provide more information about these controls. If the Property inspector is not visible, choose Window > Properties to open it. Click the expander arrow at the lower right of the panel to minimize or maximize the panel.
