Project 2: Importing still images from video

If you have videos that you can view on your computer, you can capture individual frames of that movie and use them as still images.

In this example, the video shows high-speed action. The video process interlaces images, so that an ordinary capture grabs two frames and shows alternating screen lines of each one. Interlacing becomes more obvious when the images are fast-moving. Photoshop Elements 3.0 has a built-in feature for correcting this problem.
