1In Lesson 1, you gathered existing image files into Organizer. In this lesson, you used the Import command, which is available only in Editor. You used that command to import selected images from a PDF file and a video clip. One of the things you can do (but did not in this lesson), is to gather all the photos from a PDF file into an Organizer catalog. If you want to try this, choose File > Get Photos > From Files And Folders, and then select PDF Files from the Files Of Type pop-up menu at the bottom of the Get Photos From Files And Folders dialog box.
2You can choose Filter > Video > De-Interlace to fix the video import.
3You use Photoshop Elements 3.0 Editor in Standard Edit mode to create panoramas. Choose File > New > Photomerge Panorama to start the process. It’s not even necessary to open the files before you begin merging. However, you can also start a photomerge in Organizer by selecting the thumbnails of the images that will make up the panorama and then choosing File > New > Photomerge Panorama in Editor.
4You choose File > New > Creation to start the process of preparing photos for presentations in various other formats. You can select from a variety of designer layouts and styles. For some types, such as PDF slide shows, you can include music files, narration, and transition effects.
