Variation: Use a different image for the background

By now, you are probably realizing that your choices are fairly limitless. You may even be wondering how to go about placing your subject on a whole new background

1.

Add a new background image. Open the photo or image that will be used for the new background. (Make sure that your working file is still open and that the Background layer is selected.) Place the two image windows side by side. With your new image active, select the Move tool () from the toolbox. Click the image and drag the new background into your original working file. Note: If the photo bin is open you may either need to close it or choose Window > Cascade in order to see the two files side by side.

2.

Position the new background. Select your working file. On the Layers palette, select your new background layer. Use the Move tool to move it to a position that works with your subject. Save your file.
