Making Panoramas

If you want to create an image that is wider (or taller) than your camera can capture in a single photo, you can take multiple overlapping photos and combine them into a panorama. You need a set of photos with considerable overlap (preferably at least a third of the frame), taken with the same exposure and from the same spot. Ideally, the camera should be on a tripod, but hand-held panoramas work well as long as you're careful to minimize the camera movement (other than rotation).

To create a panorama, first examine your photos in the Organizer and determine which ones you want to merge. Select all the photos you want to use and choose File > New > Photomerge Panorama in Editor.
