Chapter 6. Using the Standard Photo Editor

As you've learned in previous chapters, Elements 3 is a combination of the Organizer and the Editor, and the Editor has two modes of operation: Quick Fix and Standard Edit. Chapter 5, “Fixing Your Photos,” described how to make simple enhancements to your photos using Quick Fix.

The Standard Edit mode, the subject of this chapter, is a more powerful—and more complex—editing environment. It offers most of the relevant capabilities of the professionally oriented Photoshop CS, with an easier-to-use interface.
