Chapter 9. Printing Your Photos > Printing on Your Home Printer

Printing on Your Home Printer

Elements offers five formatting choices for printing photos on your own printer. From the Organizer, you begin printing on your printer by selecting the photos and choosing File > Print (or pressing Ctrl-P). In the Print Selected Photos dialog, you can choose from one of four formats to print your pages:

  • Individual Prints: Prints one or more photos on a page, with all photos the same size.

  • Contact Sheet: Prints a grid of photos on a page, typically for quick reference to a set of photos rather than for final output.

  • Picture Package: Uses layouts containing an assortment of sizes to best fill the page. You can print each photo in multiple sizes, or a different photo in each spot.

  • Labels: Designed for printing on standard peel-and-stick labels. You may want to use this feature for regular printing as well, if its ability to print decorative borders is appealing.
