Using Stacks

Stacks are a great tool for reducing clutter in your Photo Browser, because you only see the best shot out of multiple similar pictures. For example, you might take numerous shots of a group of people as you try to get their best expressions, or several versions of a landscape with different exposures. A stack combines all the selected photos into a group that is shown as a single image in the Photo Browser.

Stacks are designed for situations in which you expect to use only one picture in the stack, which you place on the top. The others are still in the catalog, so you can see them if you want, and you can change your mind about which photo should be on top.
