From Photoshop to the Future

As you've seen, Photoshop can read and write a number of languages fluently, but they're all based on those ubiquitous zeros and ones. Photoshop can also sprech a compressed dialect of many of these languages, saving hard drive space and occasionally printing time, but often slowing down workflow. But perhaps most important, we've learned how to get images out of Photoshop and ready for the rest of the world. In the next chapter, Output Methods, we discuss this final process. Then we'll take a quick look at preparing your images for the Web before sending you off to get your work done.
