Isolating Variables

The information in this chapter may seem insanely complex, and to some extent it is. The important thing to keep in mind is that you're dealing with several independent variables. As you gain experience working with a particular press or output device, examine the results closely and see where you can improve things. Your first print job may prove disappointing, but your second one should be better, and the third one should be better still. If we could afford to print everything twice, life would be easy!
