No More Jaggy Text

Jaggy text is an unsightly blemish that we've all experienced and wished we could make go away. The unwanted jaggies appear when the pixels in an image are big enough that you can easily see them when printed (Figure 19.1). They show up as rough, jagged edges on your printouts, and they are the cause of much hair-pulling and sudden bursts of profanity in the graphic arts industry.
