Assigning and Removing Keywords

Once you’ve customized the list of keywords to those that are relevant to your photos, you can assign one or more keywords to individual images. For these tasks, you must open the Keywords/Search window by choosing Keywords () from the Edit menu.

To assign keywords to photos:

1.
Select one or more photos.

2.
Select one or more keywords that you want to apply (-click or -click keywords to select more than one).

3.
Click the Assign button.

iPhoto highlights the keywords with gray and, if keywords are showing in the display pane, displays them next to the photos (Figure 3.34 and Figure 3.35).
