Edit Tools Overview (Separate Window)

The tools available when you edit a photo in a separate window are slightly different from those available when editing in the display pane (Figure 4.8).

Tips

  • The image-editing window doesn’t remember its size, so you may need to resize or zoom the window each time.

  • Editing in windows is a good way to compare multiple images.

  • Editing in a window lets you see a photo at larger sizes than in the display pane.

  • Use the Window menu to switch to windows you can’t see.

  • You lose the ability to undo changes you’ve made when you close the window.
