Chapter 5. Creating Books > Changing Text Color

Changing Text Color

Although it’s not obvious, iPhoto provides controls to change the color of text. Unfortunately, a bug in iPhoto 1.0, 1.1.1, and 2.0 prevents these changes from sticking, so don’t bother trying to use these instructions until Apple fixes the bug.

To change colors:

1.
To open the Colors panel, -click a text box and choose Show Colors from the Font menu (Figure 5.15).

Figure 5.15. To open the Colors panel, Control-click a text box, and from the hierarchical Font menu, choose Show Colors.

or

From the Extras pop-up menu in the Font panel, choose Color.

Figure 5.16. Click a color in the color wheel to put it in the color box and apply it to the selected text.

2.
Select the text to which you want to apply a color, and click a color in the color wheel.
