Entering file information

Photoshop supports the information standard developed by the Newspaper Association of America and the International Press Telecommunications Council to identify transmitted text and images.

1.
Select the 20Start.eps image and choose File > File Info. The File Info dialog box opens with Description selected in the list on the left side of the dialog box.

2.
Type information in any of the options available, such as a title for the image, the author, a description of the image, and so forth.

Note

To print a description when you print an image, choose File > Print With Preview, and click the Description option.

3.
In Keywords, type a keyword (such as skating or winter) in the text box. You can type and enter as many other keywords as you want.

4.
In the List menu, select Origin.

5.
Click the Today button to enter today’s date in the Date Created text box. Then type any other information you want to enter in the other options.

6.
Click OK to close the File Info dialog box, and then choose File > Save.
