Lesson 2. Using the File Browser > Reviewing and editing metadata

Reviewing and editing metadata

You can quickly see file information in two ways: using the Details view for the File Browser thumbnails pane or using the Metadata palette. But there are differences in their content; you’ll compare the two information displays next.

The information on the Metadata palette is nested under headings that you can expand or collapse by clicking the arrow next to a heading. The three headings are File Properties, IPTC, and Camera Data (exif). In the File Browser, you can directly edit only some of the IPTC metadata.
