Lesson 14. Arranging Layer Objects in Im... > Duplicating and aligning layer group...

Duplicating and aligning layer groups

You can treat layer groups like individual layer objects. You can duplicate, move, and transform them as a unit. In ImageReady—unlike Photoshop—you can also select multiple layers, layer sets, or layer groups in the Layers palette. Once you’ve selected these, you can drag them to the buttons at the bottom of the Layers palette to duplicate, delete, or group the entire collection of selected layers, layer sets, and layer groups.

Before you begin, make sure that the Move tool () is still selected in the toolbox and that the Layer Select tool is selected in the tool options bar, or select them now.
