Changing The Image Size

As you are working on the design, you’ll frequently need to scale or crop images (or entire designs). The command for changing the image size is Image > Image Size, and it is pretty straightforward: the dialog box displays the width and height of your work area. You can change its dimensions simply by entering new values (make sure the units are set to pixels). To the right, you’ll see a chain icon that indicates which parameters are linked, depending on whether you have selected the Constrain Proportions and/or Resample Image options at the bottom of the dialog box.

The Image Size dialog box allows you to shrink or enlarge an image. Resample Image ultimately determines the quality of the result and the Constrain Proportions option ensures that the proportions are kept.
