To use the Preset Manager:

1.
Choose Edit > Preset Manager.

or

With any palette or picker pop-up palette open (e.g., brush picker, gradient picker), choose Preset Manager from the palette menu (Peter Piper picked...).

Optional: Click the arrowhead in the circle at the top of the dialog box and choose a different view for the Preset Manager: Text Only, Small Thumbnail, Large Thumbnail, Small List, or Large List. For Brushes, you can also choose Stroke Thumbnail to see a sample of the brush stroke alongside the brush thumbnail.

Choose a category of presets from the Preset Type pop-up menu .

Do any of the following:

Click the arrowhead in the circle and choose a library name from the bottom of the menu. Click Append to add that library to the current library, or click OK to replace the current library with the new one.

Click Load, then locate a library to append to the current library.

Click or Shift-click the presets you want to delete, then click Delete. The default presets can be deleted, and they can be restored at any time.

5.
Click Done. The edited picker will update.

Tip

Preset libraries can be shared among Photoshop users.
