To display the mesh using View Options controls:

1.
In the Liquify dialog box, check View Options: Mesh . A regularly-spaced set of gridlines now covers the image .

Do any of the following optional steps:

Choose a different size for the mesh from the Mesh Size pop-up menu.

Choose a different color for the mesh from the Mesh Color pop-up menu.

If the mesh is visible and you want to hide the image, uncheck View Options: Image. This will enable you to see the distortion pattern in the mesh more clearly.

Tip

In Photoshop 7 or later, you can save your meshes and then apply them to other images. In the Liquify dialog box, click Save Mesh, type a name for the mesh, choose a location for it, then click Save. To load in a mesh, click Load Mesh. After you’ve applied distortion to your image, you can use the Reconstruction controls , together with the Reconstruct tool, to undo some or all of the distortion, or to extend the distortion into other areas of the image.
