Setting Additional Printing Options

At the bottom of the Print Preview dialog box, you’ll find a set of features that you can use to modify the printed output of your image. A couple, like the Background and Border options, can be particularly handy if you want to experiment with adding color and stroke elements to your images without the risk of harming the actual image files.

To add a background color:

1.
Select the Show More Options check box at the bottom of the Print Preview dialog box (Figure 11.54).

The dialog box expands to reveal the additional features.

Click the Background button to open the Color Picker.

Select a color in the Color Picker; then click OK.

The Color Picker closes, and the background of the page preview fills with the color you selected (Figure 11.55).

4.
If you want to change the background color, repeat steps 2 and 3, selecting a different color.

5.
To delete the color altogether, repeat steps 2 and 3, choosing white for the color in the color picker.
