Creating Hotspots

You can draw hotspots directly on your image using one of the three hotspot tools: the Rectangle, Circle, and Polygon hotspot tools.

To draw a rectangular or circular hotspot object:

1.
Choose the Rectangle or Circle hotspot tool in the Tools panel 1.

Drag to create a rectangle or circle that defines the hotspot area 2.

Tip

Hold the Shift key to constrain the Rectangle to a square.

Tip

Hold the Opt/Alt key to drag from the center outward.

Tip

Hotspots are automatically placed on the Web layer even if that layer is not the selected layer.
