Batch Processing Changes

Batch processing allows you to combine exporting, scaling, find and replace, renaming, and commands together into one super-command that can be applied to many files at once.

To set the batch processing options:

1.
Choose File > Batch Process. The Batch Process (Mac) or Batch (Win) dialog box appears 28.

2.
Set the files for batch processing as described in the next exercise.

3.
Set the Batch Options as described on the next page.

4.
Set the renaming controls as described on page 199.

5.
Set the destination controls as described on page 200.

Tip

You can batch process any native Fireworks file as well as any other file that Fireworks can open. This includes scans or FreeHand files.
