Paths

After we explored the differences between bitmapped graphics (made of pixels) and object-oriented graphics (made of lines, curves, and other objects) back in Chapter 3, Image Essentials, we pretty much ignored the latter—until now. Photoshop has traditionally offered limited support for object-oriented drawing. However, that has changed with Photoshop 6, which includes a lot more support for vector art than ever before, stepping beyond basic clipping paths.
