Compositing Images

As we explained in the last chapter, the number one problem with making selections and compositing images together is edge spill, where some of the background color gets picked up as fringe along the edges of your selection. There are a number of methods for getting rid of edge spill, but most of them involve simply cutting away at the edge pixels rather than removing the background color from the mix.
