Controlling Color

It may seem a little odd to devote an entire chapter to a mere handful of commands, but the settings that deal with defining, converting and displaying color are so important that you really need to understand what they do, and when and how they do it. Using these features correctly will let you produce predictable, repeatable color more easily than ever: using them incorrectly will doom you to “chasing color” through multiple iterations of corrections and proofs. Even seasoned Photoshop veterans will find some surprises in the new setup, because some of the changes are not particularly obvious.
