Chapter 17. Animation > Simple Animations

Simple Animations

Let's start off with a simple example. Let's say you have a document that contains two layers; one contains a photo of the earth from space and the other contains an image of the moon. You want to make it look like the moon is moving back and forth across the earth. With the document open in ImageReady, you'd need to click on the New Frame icon (Figure 17.1) and then use the Move tool to reposition the moon. Now repeat that about a dozen times until you've completed the path that you'd like the moon to follow. Then, to preview your animation, click the Play button at the bottom of the Animation palette.
