In a GIF animation, multiple image frames play back in a user-specified sequence. Animated effects that you can create for a Web page include text or graphics that move, fade in or out, or change in some other way.
To produce an animation in ImageReady, you'll create multiple image frames via the Animation palette. Then you'll modify individual layers via the Layers palette for each frame (each frame has its own unique Layers palette setup). And finally, you'll save the sequence of frames as a single GIF file—ready for online viewing.
