Chapter 8. Animation—Yes, You Can Do It! > The Animation Palette in ImageReady

The Animation Palette in ImageReady

1.
Now we're ready to create a quick animation. Click the Jump To ImageReady button at the bottom of the tool bar (see Figure 8-4).

2.
Once you are in ImageReady, make sure the Animation palette is showing at the bottom of the page. It's the same palette that you've been working with Rollovers, Slices and Image Maps. From the top menu bar select Window/Show Animation.

3.
In the Animation palette, you'll see one frame with the stichstyle word.

4.
Click on the New Animation Frame icon at the bottom of the palette (see Figure 8-5).

5.
That will create a new identical frame next to the original frame (see Figure 8-6).

6.
Go to the layer palette and click the eye off the current selection and click select another color word (see Figure 8-7).

7.
You'll see that the selected second frame has a different color in the word.

8.
Do the same thing for each of a total of four frames. Each frame should have the “stichstyle” word in the same place with a different color (see Figure 8-8).
