Introduction to Animation

Animation on a computer is the same as it was in the early days of Disney. Animation is the illusion that several still images are moving. Each image is created on a cell and the next image is placed on another cell. Animators originally painted on clear cells. For our purposes the cells are frames in ImageReady. We are going to create a simple animation and then let you go have some serious fun creating more. Go to the book's Web site and download the images for Chapter 8.
