Using Hue and Saturation

As you are piecing together the last sections of the StichStyle Magazine Web site, the Creative Director calls you over to the light table. She shows you the soccer uniform of one of the kids for the kids page. She asks if you think it would be nicer if it was a darker blue and not the teal blue it is. You agree. You also have created several icon buttons for the site and the colors need to change. The last thing you want to do is re-create everything. There's one great tool that will allow you to do both—Hue and Saturation. As we mentioned earlier, this is also a great tool to use to get the red eye out of photographs.

The Hue/Saturation dialog box allows you to adjust the color, the saturation (fullness) of the color, and its lightness.
