CANDIDATE DISPOSITION FORM

You may be required to show that you evaluated all candidates for a position on the same basis. You must be able to demonstrate the criteria you used in making your hiring decision were job-related. Keep carefully written documentation to avoid possible lawsuits.

The following reasons for rejecting a candidate are valid as long as they don’t apply to the person chosen for the job.

Candidate:

___ Does not meet minimum job requirements.

___ Meets minimum job requirements, but is not the best qualified.

___ Has no prior related experience.

___ Has less prior experience than the person selected.

___ Has a lower level of skills than the person selected.

___ Has less directly-related training than the person selected.

___ Cannot work the schedule required by the job.

___ Withdrew self from consideration.
