Preventing Sexual Harassment

Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 prohibits sexual advances, requests for sexual favors, and other verbal or physical conduct of a sexual nature. Sexual harassment can involve charges of intentional infliction of emotional stress, assault and battery, or invasion of the right to privacy. These cases can be filed against the person accused of the harassment as well as the manager of the accused and the company.
