Speech Recognizers

Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR) uses a microphone for speech input and a microcomputer that processes voice data. Current models have a limited capacity of several hundred words. These devices take your spoken words and convert them through your word processor to printed words. This eliminates the need to transcribe dictated material from a tape recorder.
