How are You Feeling?

Congratulations on your success! You have come a long way. Did you find the process uncomfortable, or possibly frightening? If so, you are not alone. The process of getting organized and throwing things out can be tiring and filled with anxiety. Be proud that you did it anyway, in spite of the fear. Do not let the emotions stop you from moving forward.

You have now completed the bulk of organizing you set out to do. How does your office look? It should be much neater with fewer papers and miscellaneous objects sitting out. Your books and binders are logically arranged and clearly labeled. The drawers are neat and tidy. The only thing remaining to clear is the top of your desk. The following sections of the book will discuss filing principles, strategies for keeping the desk clean, tools to track delegated work and techniques for maintaining your paper management system.
