2. Daily To-Do Lists

A To-Do List is a way to keep track of tasks that can be completed in the next one or two days. You should not have more than fifteen items on it. This list should serve the following purposes by helping to:

  • Remind you of things you are likely to forget (it is not a listing of everything you do each day).

  • Set priorities based on importance, not just on urgency.

  • Plan, because you can estimate how much time each item will take.

  • Regain your focus after being interrupted.
