Business Cards

Business cards seem to accumulate rapidly. When you were sorting the desk, did you find some in the upper right hand desk drawer, some in the center pullout drawer and some rubberbanded in the upper left-hand drawer? Keep in mind that business cards, like any kind of information, are only useful if they are retrievable. One of the best things to do initially is to reduce the number that come in. Do not feel obligated to save each one given to you. Only retain those you are likely to refer to again.

When you are handed a card write directly on the card what you are going to do with it or the promise you made. This makes filling the request much easier when you are back in the office.
